In many cases, your nutrition is the cause of your lack of results. Believe that you are eating healthy, but in reality, it could be that you are eating a lot of the bad things, and very little of the good things.
Here are some tips you can start applying in your daily life today, and I can guarantee that if you implement them every day, and you are more aware of what you put in your mouth, you will see results within the next 30 days.

- Drink water with yellow lemon every morning. Drink a cup of warm water with ½ lemon yellow organic to help the process of detoxification of your body. - Eat slowly and stop eating when you are 80% full. To achieve this start eating a salad and chew your meals more than necessary.
- Choose whole foods 80-90% of the time with minimal processing.
- Choose local and organic foods when possible and do not buy or have junk food available in your kitchen. Who do you think will end up eating the chocolate chip ice cream in your freezer?
- Eat the biggest meal of the day after exercising.
- Eat every 3 hours. This does not mean eating pasta, rice or bread every 3 hours, it just means that you consume small amounts of nutrient-dense foods to keep your metabolism working and burning.
- Eat protein-dense foods with each meal. The size of the portion of the protein is visually what is equivalent to the size of the palm of your hand. Between 20 to 30 g, if you are a woman, or from 40 to 60 g, if you are a man.
- Eat vegetables with each meal. Include at least two servings of fruits and/or low glycemic index vegetables per meal. (Fruits and vegetables have a low-calorie density and can help regulate food intake in general). Also note that a medium-sized fruit, a ½ cup of chopped fruit or raw vegetables, and 1 cup of raw green leafy vegetables, is equal to one serving. You may have to try at first to get 10 servings of fruits and vegetables per day since this is the magic number of servings of fruits and vegetables.
- For fat loss, eat most of your carbohydrate intake after exercise. Store starchy carbohydrates sporadically for after exercise. Within 3 hours after your exercise routine is when you can include your carbohydrate of choice. Try to concentrate more on unprocessed carbohydrate varieties, than on starchy ones such as pasta, bread, white rice, etc ... If you can not resist the occasional slice of bread and pasta, try to make it whole and consume small portions.
- Eat healthy fats every day. About 30% of your diet should come from a balance of healthy fats. Health, body composition and performance can be optimized by balancing fat intake. The balance of fats should be 1/3 of saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. You can focus on adding healthy monounsaturated fats to your daily diet such as (extra virgin olive oil, some types of nuts and avocado) and polyunsaturated fats (such as some types of nuts, some vegetable oils, and fish oil supplements).
As you can see there are many small changes that we can start doing today.
The important thing here is, to be honest with ourselves and to know that every time you consume something with little nutrition, you are far from your goal.
Remember that it's not about living on a constant diet, or diet after diet, it's about living a healthy lifestyle that lasts forever.
